A mom never gets the credit she deserves. It is known that women can multitask, and men cannot. I have seen this where I work. I have seen many ladies work headset at the Chick Fil-A drive thru, take orders, make drinks and take money. I can't do that. While I'm on headset I'm just happy if I get an order in the system properly. I have watched moms carry kids, push a stroller and talk on the phone while making a deposit at the bank. As a man I confess I'm lucky if I'm pushing a stroller and walking. Most of the time when my phone rings and I answer it, I end up getting lost walking in the wrong direction. I wanted to write this blog today to honor not only my mom but all mom's.
I don't want to make this a long blog being that it is late and I've been up since 4:20 a.m. My mom is amazing. I moved to South Carolina last December and I have not seen my mom since. I miss her and my family dearly. My mom is a true prayer warrior, an encourager and godly example. I have seen her grow a lot spiritually since I was a kid. She has worn out her bible that is filled with notes and she has calloused knees for praying for people, especially her family. She has always given me godly advice and yes, she has reprimanded me for not doing the right thing. I will not get to see her this year, but I do want to wish her a blessed Mother's Day. Thank you, mom, for being you and for being a blessing to me in my life. I love you very much and appreciate you! To all of you reading this who are mom's, you all deserve a medal for all you do. You are all "unsung heroes" who go beyond the call of duty for your kids. I hope you all have a blessed Mother's Day and remember to always put Jesus first in everything you do. God bless you, Mom's!!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!!
