WHAT DID 2025 TEACH ME?

I learned several things in 2025. It was my first full year living in South Carolina. It was quite a ride and one I will never forget. Let me share with you what 2025 taught me!

PUT JESUS FIRST IN YOUR LIFE
I don't know where I would be without Jesus in my life. He needs to be number one or everything else will crumble!

THINGS MAY NOT ALWAYS GO YOUR WAY
We have it in our heads the way things need to go for us. If things went the way I wanted, it would be a huge mess. I never dreamed I would ever work anywhere else but at Chick Fil-A. I just want to continue to follow the Lord's lead! I look forward to God's plan for me!

GOD IS ALWAYS ON YOUR SIDE
As long as we put God first, He will direct us and lead us. There is not time to walk away from His plan. His plan is the best!

NOT EVERYBODY HAS A SMILE ON THEIR FACE
I need to confess that I had a stereotype of most Southerners. You would think living in the "Bible Belt" that everyone would be happy and have joy. It seems as though people are the same everywhere you go. Trust me when I say that when I was outside taking orders at Chick Fil-A, I saw a huge amount of angry bitter people who were miserable and they would let you know they were miserable and angry. Just look at their face! It's heartbreaking.

TAKE IT ONE DAY AT A TIME
We can't live in the past and focus on what happened or think about a rough situation that occurred in the last few months. We need to take it day by day and one day at a time. It's a new day filled with new opportunities and new ways to grow. Take it one day at a time!

WORK HARD AT EVERYTHING YOU DO
If we want to succeed, we need to work hard at it and give 100%. Things never get handed to us and it's not always easy, but hard work always pays off. Whether you are doing ministry, working at a job, working at your marriage or being a parent, you should always work hard at it!

What all these things I shared has taught me is every single day you continue to grow. Life is a learning experience for all of us. I wake up in the morning thanking God that I have a roof over my head, jobs and two legs and two arms that work. So now, I wait to see what 2026 will teach me as my adventure continues.

HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL FOR AN AMAZING 2026!!
